U15 (2011/2012)

PCMHA U15 Division – Elevating Performance and Personal Growth

The U15 division is a pivotal stage in a young hockey player’s journey. According to Hockey Canada’s Long-Term Player Development model, players in this age group are entering the "Train to Train" phase. This is a time of rapid physical, cognitive, and emotional development—and a time to focus on refining skills, embracing competition, and building a strong sense of responsibility both on and off the ice.

At PCMHA, the U15 program is designed to challenge players while supporting their personal and athletic growth. Athletes continue to develop technical skills and are introduced to more advanced systems of play, game strategy, and physical preparation. Off-ice training may also be introduced to complement on-ice development.

Key elements of the U15 program include:

  • Advanced skill refinement in skating, puck control, shooting, and checking (as body contact is introduced at this level)
  • Team systems and tactical awareness that support higher-level play
  • Leadership and character development, helping players grow into confident, respectful teammates
  • Goaltender development that supports position-specific progression
  • League play and tournaments that offer both competitive and collaborative experiences
  • Supportive coaching focused on mentorship, accountability, and player well-being

Players at the U15 level begin to take greater ownership of their role within a team and their personal development goals. Whether an athlete is aiming for elite-level hockey or simply wants to enjoy the sport at a meaningful level, PCMHA provides an environment where commitment, respect, and fun all come together.

PCMHA offers A1 & C divisions for U15.
